1. Who is responsible

TwinCity (twincity.app) is operated by Alister Strategies SL, Calle Núñez de Balboa 120, 28006 Madrid, Spain ("Alister", "we", "us"). Contact: dom@alisterstrategies.com, +31 6 27 97 47 57.

We are the controller for the personal data described here.

2. The residents are not real people

The "residents" in TwinCity are simulated. They are generated from aggregated public statistics (such as census counts by age, sex and region) and do not represent or identify any real person. We do not use personal data of the public to build them.

3. Data we collect about you

• Account: your email address and sign-in details.
• Profile (optional): name, company name, website, industry, country, currency and profile picture.
• Your tests: the ads, images, video frames and text you upload, your audience settings, and the results.
• Payments: what you bought and its status. Card details go straight to our payment provider; we never see or store them.
• Technical: basic logs such as IP address, browser and error reports, used to keep the service secure and working.

4. Why we use it

• To provide your account, run your tests and show results (performance of our contract with you).
• To process payments and keep records we are legally required to keep (contract and legal obligation).
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems (legitimate interest).
• To email you about your account or important changes. We only send marketing if you agree, and you can opt out at any time.

Your uploaded ads are sent to an AI service only to generate the simulated residents' reactions for your own test. They are not used to train AI models and are not shown to other users.

5. Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run TwinCity, such as hosting and database, AI processing and payments, under data processing agreements. We never sell your data. See data protection for details.

6. How long we keep it

Account and profile data: while your account exists. Tests and uploads: until you delete them or your account. Payment records: as long as tax law requires (in Spain generally up to 6 years). Logs: a short period, usually under 90 days.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. Email dom@alisterstrategies.com and we will reply within one month. You may also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es) or the authority in your own country.

8. Cookies

We only use what is needed to keep you signed in and to make payments work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes

We will update this statement when our use of data changes and show the new date above.
